We have 9 weeks of regular season play to complete before we have the Team Round Robin and four weeks of tournaments. Our banquet date is tentatively set at May 23rd, however, this may change so we can accommodate the fabulous catering of Coastal Culinary Creations.
Darts of Hazzard vs. Roto Maxx Renegades — Eagles Hall
The Darts of Hazzard hosted the league‑leading Renegades and put up a determined fight, shaving double‑digit points off the top team. For the Renegades, Captain Lorraine Hopps was unstoppable on her doubles, sweeping all five of her opponents. Terry Strawson fired in a 140, and Larry MacDonald added two 133s. The Darts of Hazzard answered back with grit. John Coulter delivered a standout performance, winning four of his five singles and posting the team’s high score with a 133.

Dart Vaders vs. Eagles Hall X‑Men — Parksville Legion
The Dart Vaders and X‑Men battled through a tight, momentum‑shifting match. The X‑Men took two of the three doubles and held the early lead, but the Vaders kept clawing back, trading sets right to the finish. For the X‑Men, it was a four‑way tie for most singles wins: Captain Todd Burnham, Pony Moore, Craig Dempsey, and spare Randy Burrows each claimed three victories. Pony and Rob Sparrow shared top score honors with matching 120s. The Vaders’ standout was Warren Potter, undefeated in all five singles. Spare Ryan Denbigh added four wins and dominated the scoring column with 100×3, 113, 138, and 140, topping the team’s weekly totals.

Short Sighted Crew vs. Double Eagles — Parksville Legion
The Short Sighted Crew delivered a commanding performance, overpowering the Double Eagles in nearly every set and even tossing in a late‑match whitewash for emphasis.
Mike Runsteadler led the Crew with a perfect five‑for‑five night, while Kevin Martin pinned a 140 in his win over Colleen McNeill. For the Double Eagles, Alan Barry stood tall, winning three of his five singles and posting team highs of 118 and 121.

Straight Arrows vs. Bashers — Eagles Hall
The Straight Arrows and Bashers delivered one of the night’s closest contests. The Bashers opened strong with a 4–1 first set, but the Arrows answered immediately, taking the second set and then pulling ahead by winning sets four through six.
For the Straight Arrows, Mike Beno was flawless, going five‑for‑five and hitting two 112s. Shane Ovington added three wins and earned team high score with a 132 against Michelle Gummeson. The Bashers’ top performer was Tom Ayley, who claimed four of six singles, landed a 144, and secured a spot on the Men’s High Out Leader Board with an 86 finish against Roy Neill. A blistering effort. Harry Ross and Michelle Gummeson each added three wins to keep the match tight.
