The Eagles Hall Double Eagles hosted the Morningstar Triples to a fun night of darts at the Eagles Hall last Tuesday.  While lingering illness affected a couple of the Double Eagles, the Triples took advantage of that, coming out ahead by the end of the match.  Team spare, Arless McNeill topped the scores winning four of his six matches.  Will Crompton topped the scores with a 140, 121 and 100 and contributed three wins to the final score.  Leading the wins for the seven member Triples team, Brody Jenkinson was undefeated in his four matches, while team mates Jim Hood and Keith Reimer each added three wins in four trips to the oche.  Keith pinned a 135 in his winning match against Double Eagle Captain, Toni Crompton.

Playing at the QB Legion, the Short Sighted Crew hosted the leagues top team, the Bristle Bashers, to an easy victory for the Bashers.  Crew Captain Don Punter thwarted the hopes of three of his six opponents and landed the Leader Board’s 9th spot on the Men’s High Out listing, taking out 100 in his match against Steve Collins.  The Bristle Bashers hit so many scores over 100 throughout the match, it’s not a wonder the Crew had a hard time getting ahead of them.  Veteran Basher, Terry Strawson and newest Basher, Ryan Lane, were both undefeated in five singles matches.  Team mates, Ken Hayes and Steve Collins, pinned matching 140’s to top the team scores for the night.  Warren Potter and Ryan also landed on the Leader Board with checkouts of 89 and 85 respectively.
