Playing at their home venue, the Bristle Bashers hosted the Eagles Hall X-Men to a brisk night of darts at the Parksville Legion.  The Bashers leapt out of the gate and stayed ahead the whole match.  Leading the wins for the Bashers was a tie for Steve Collins and Ryan Lane, both missing the double in only one of their six singles games.  Steven and Ryan were also competing for high check out apparently, with Steve hitting a 107 out to start the night, while Ryan finished the match off with a 102 check out in his final game of the night.  Steve rose from the #12 spot on the Leader Board to #5 Men’s High Out.  Ken Hayes landed himself on the Leader Board with a perfect score of 180.  Nice darts Ken! Leading the wins for the X-Men, Jim Thompson bested all but Steve Collins, who pinned an 84 out.  Jim also topped the scores for the team with two 140’s, 125, 100x5, and a 72 check out.

Also playing at the Eagles Hall, the Eagles Hall Eagle Eyes hosted the QB Legion Shooters to a fast-paced night of darts.  The home team may not have faired well in the doubles, but they did come out swinging in the first singles set and took three of the five singles.  The victory was short lived, as the Shooters then dominated all but one of the remaining singles sets.   Leading the wins for the Eagle Eyes, John Coulter, lost only to Shooters George Wallis and Thom Ford.  Eagle Eye Heath Mahoney topped the team scores with a 140 in his winning match against Lee Page.  Leading the wins for the Shooters, Thom Ford was undefeated in his five singles.  Captain Lorraine Paquette and Larry MacDonald both hit two 140’s, Lorraine in one game and Larry in two separate games, to garner the team top score of the night.
