Wintertime is rife with viruses, and they ripped through the league last week, requiring spares for both the QB Legion Short Sighted Crew and the Double Eagles. Needing two spares to make five players, the Crew welcomed the Eagles Hall Double Eagles, who brought a spare of their own to fill their ranks.   The home team started off well in the doubles but slipped in the first set of singles.  They flipped the score during the second set of singles and regained their lead.  The remaining singles sets were a 2-3 win for the Double Eagles giving them the overall win by the end of the match.   Leading the point for the Double Eagles was a tie between Sue Barry and spare Harry Ross, both wracking up four points in six wins.  Alan Barry topped the scores with a 117 in his winning match against Kevin Martin. The five-member Crew, Peter Bisiker in the lead with five wins in six matches, cheered him on after a Leader Board worthy out of 92 and the team top score of 140.
