Meeting at the Eagles Hall, the Eagles Hall Straight Arrows hosted the Bristle Bashers to a thrashing match of darts. The home team struggled to get a grip on their doubles under the barrage of the Bashers. Leading the wins for the Straight Arrows was a tie between Captain Sonja Twamley and Poul Reimer, both winning two of their five singles games. Poul also topped the scores for the team, pinning a 124. Leading the wins for the Bashers, Terry Strawson and Ken Hayes were unstoppable in their six singles matches. Terry was high scorer for the team as well, hitting a 140, 125, 121 and 100x4.

Playing at the Qualicum Legion, the QB Legion Shooters hosted the PV Legion Respect-A-Bulls to thirty three games of darts. The home team took a lead early on with the Respect-A-Bulls giving them a solid run for their money. Shooter Thom Ford topped the scores for the team, besting all six of his opponents. Thom pushed his way into first place on the Men’s High Score Leader Board, hitting another 177 this season. Leading the wins for the Respect-A-Bulls was a team tie – all five players won two out of their six singles matches and Tom Ayley topped the scores for the team, hitting a 117.

B-Division:
Filling up the rest of the boards at the Eagles Hall, the Eagles Hall Eagle Eyes hosted the Morningstar Triples to a fun night of darts. The match was close throughout the first six sets, when the Eagle Eyes finished up with a whitewash final set to seal their win. Leading the wins for the Eagle Eyes, John Coulter, was undefeated in his five singles sets, pinning two 58 outs and a 77 out along the way. Captain Harry Van Heerwaarden topped the team scores with a 140 in his final match of the night. Leading the wins for the Triples, Dynamite Denise Tabler and Brody Jenkinson each brought three wins in their five singles matches. Keith Reimer may not have hit a double all night, but he did hit some great high scores of 137and 100x4 throughout the match.

Playing at the Parksville Legion, the Parksville Legion Dart Legends met with the QB Legion Short Sighted Crew for a rousing night of darts. With five against five, the night progressed quickly and a couple of Dart Legend stumbles mid-match gave the Crew a lead they couldn’t overcome in the end. Leading the wins for the Legends, Rod Swindells and Donna Ermantrout both won four of their six matches. Dave Edwards topped the scores with a 100. Fresh from seven weeks in Asia and Australia, Crew member Peter Bisiker didn’t let his dart skills rust while he was on vacation, winning all six of his singles matches. Peter also topped the high scores with a 140, 135 and 100 over the course of the match.
